STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND MISSION OF THE FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH SANFORD, NORTH CAROLINA

BELIEVING that it is the goal of the Church to increase among all people the love of God and neighbor, the stated mission of the First Presbyterian Church is:

to proclaim and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ in word and deed so that we and all people, far and near, will come to trust Him as Lord and Savior, be motivated to practice His teaching in every area of life,

and nuture here a community of meaning and acceptance in order to be a visible sign of God's love for all people.
