Sunday School Children's Classes We believe that the church should be a place where children experience God's gracious love for them and the joy of worshiping and serving God together. At Sunday School (9:45 - 10:30 a.m.) children learn about God, their faith, and the love of their church family. Children's Ministry Strong emphasis is placed on Church School as well as music. The children also participate in special activities throughout the year such as the annual Easter Egg Hunt, bowling, the Halloween Carnival, preparing baskets for the shut-ins, and other special programs. Each program gives our children an opportunity to meet weekly to develop and build friendships, further strengthen their understanding of the Bible and to enjoy a time of fun activities in the church. |
Middle School Youth Fellowship The Middle School Youth meet from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. on Sunday nights. They eat dinner at 5:00 p.m. with the Senior High Youth. After dinner, they participate in Bible study and group building activities. The adult advisors and church staff discuss important Biblical issues which are relevant to the youth in today's times. The group participates in mission projects and plans recreational trips to the ski slopes and beaches, just to name a couple. They are also challenged to better understand and live out their Christian faith. |
Senior High Youth Fellowship The Senior High Youth meet on Sunday nights from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. Their evening begins with fellowship around the dinner table with the Middle School Youth. After dinner, they participate in Bible study and group building activities. They are also challenged to better understand and live their Christian faith. The Senior High Youth participate in retreats, Youth Sunday, and other group building activities. During the year they prepare for a retreat which focuses on our Christian faith and walk with God. This retreat is normally far from home and is characterized as an International Mission, Domestic Mission, Heritage/History or Group Building retreat. The Senior High Youth also hold two annual fund raisers; a yard sale in the fall and a BBQ meal in the spring. |
