Starting Tuesday September 14th    Offered at two different times (10am & 7pm), we will have a one hour Bible Study around the book The Organic God.    We will engage the inspiration  of viewing six personal video lessons from the author, then open our Bibles & explore the uplifting material.  So from September 14 through November 16, we will proceed through The Organic God by reading one chapter per week.    Each participant is asked to purchase their own book.  This can be done easily & inexpensively.  In order to receive your hardback copy of the book, just bring $12 to the church office by August 18 & Lori will place a group order.  After this date, of course you may order the book on your own.  (amazon.com is a good source)    You are asked to read through the Introduction (Luminescence) & the first chapter (The Organic Appetite) & we will begin our group exploration on Tuesday, September 14.  We will meet in the Library, or if a larger group appears, we will meet in the Chapel.  The evening class participants are asked to enter from the front of the building.  This will avoid a personal, close encounter with our cardio./sculpting class participants.    I look forward to the Holy Spirit blessing our special time together! Combined Worship Service On Sept. 12th there will be a combined worship serce at 10:00 a.m. in the sanctuary. There will be a congregational meeting during the service for the purpose of electing Officers for the Class of 2013.

Please join us in the Harper Center for a pancake breakfast on Sunday, September 12th at 9:00 a.m. (combined worship service at 10 a.m.)

to kickoff the new Sunday School year. The children will be promoted to their new classes and meet their new teachers.

If you ordered the book , “The Organic God,” and you haven’t picked up your book yet, please see Lori in the church office.

The Officers’ Meeting for September will be held Monday, September 20th.

Mark your calendars for October 15th and 16th for the musical event of the year!  Tickets will be available next week to the Candlelight concert featuring 4 of the most talented women in the area.  Music will range from country to pop to blues to gospel.  Something for everyone plus an amazing array of homemade cakes and coffee.  Tickets will be available from David, the church office or the Temple Theatre.  If you would like to reserve a table we have a special program.  For a $250 donation (tax deductible) you may reserve a table of your choice and receive 8 tickets to the show.  See David for details.
