PW Scholarship 2012-2013

Each year Presbyterian Women in the Coastal Carolina Presbytery offer college scholarships of $1,000 to full-time students who are members of a Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Preferences will be given to students attending Presbyterian colleges, but anyone of proven scholastic ability who needs financial assistance to further his/her education will be considered. Please call Joan Suddarth, 776-6429, or Lori, 775-5216, for more information/applications. The deadline for submitting applications is Mon., Feb. 13th.

TICKETS NOW ON SALE
“Candlelight Concert III”
March 9th and 10th
Once again we will have great coffee and desserts and a fabulous concert. The money raised will first go to our youth to pay for their mission trip this summer and the remainder will go to the Organ Fund. This is always a special event so plan to attend. Tickets, $15 per person, can be purchased in the church office, from choir members and parents of youth group members.

Bible Study Resumes on
“The Mighty Acts of God” on Tuesday, Feb. 7th at 10am and 7pm in the church library. On Feb. 7th, we will continue on p. 156 with Jeremiah - Prophet of the New Covenant.
All are welcome!

Family Promise Needs
We are in need of twin size sheets for the families staying at the church. Please bring gently used or new sheets to the church office.

Zumba Class
Come Join the Fun!
Zumba classes by Nell (certified Zumba instructor) are now being offered twice weekly in the Harper Center on Tuesdays @ 6pm and Thursdays @ 6pm. Childcare is provided at no charge. The charge for each class is $1.00 and half the proceeds will be paid to the church.

On Friday evening, February 10th from 6 to 9:30pm, the Youth will offer babysitting services in the Harper Center for families of the church and CDC. We will have activities for the children and pizza and snacks. Call Lori, 775-5216, to register by Wed., Feb. 8th.
