Which of the classical Christian spiritual disciplines is considered the most important?
   A conversational Bible study, led by our Pastor, will begin this Wednesday (2-24)
and continue on the five Wednesdays in March.  Two sessions will be offered, at 10am & 7pm.
   Bring your Bible, and for a Lenten mid-week hour, let’s gather around the Library table.  For six weeks our conversation will focus on Engaging Scripture: Spiritual Discipline Priority #1.
   Our first talking point this week will be “The Rules of Engagement.”
FPC College Scholarships
Applications for First Presbyterian scholarships are now available in the church  office, 775-5216.

Maundy Thursday
April 1st

Put this date on your calendars!  This year’s Maundy Thursday service
will be held at Edgewood Presbyterian Church.   The service will be a 7:00 p.m. and the church is located at 316 West McIntosh Street.
The Rev. Dr. Hector Rodriguez, PC(USA) Asso- ciate for Hispanic/Latino/na Congregational Sup- port, Louisville KY, will be visiting Sanford churches on March 13 and 14 at the invitation of the Sanford Area Presbyterian Hispanic Ministry.
You are invited to meet Dr. Rodriguez on:
March 13 at 4:30 - Morningside Pres. where the SAPHM Steering Committee will welcome him with light refreshments.
March 14 at Pocket Pres., Dr. Rodriguez will preach at the 11am service.
March 14 at 4pm - Coats Community Center for  a Presbytery-wide multicultural
gathering.

Easter lilies are now on sale.  If you would like to purchase a lily in honor or in memory of someone, please call the church office, 775-5216.  Cost is $10.50 each. 
The lilies will be placed in the
sanctuary on Easter Sunday, April 4th.  Deadline to place/pay order is Friday, March 26th.
On Easter Sunday, April 4th, we will meet as one congregation for a 10:00 a.m. combined service.  Those who would still like to have Sunday School can do so at a time of their own choosing - either before or after the worship service. 
Come let us celebrate together on Easter Morn.  
On Easter Sunday we will close the service with “Hallelujah Chorus.”  I would like to invite all who would want to participate to join us on Wed., March 24 & 31 at  7:15pm for rehearsal.
